The Soul Survivor festivals were a staple of my childhood. In more recent years, I’ve often visited its church in Watford — my wife was a member there for many years and several of our friends now attend on a weekly basis. In fact, it was through a friend who works for the church that the opportunity to do some photography emerged, and last week I popped along to help shoot House of Worship, their bi-monthly worship night. Being a new event for me, I was a little nervous, but I quickly got into a rhythm and I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, with the team at Soul Survivor inviting me to be as creative and bold as I wanted!
